    Early Stage Alzheimer's Group
    For persons with memory loss due to Early Stage Alzheimer's or related disorders. Separate group for family members. You will benefit by: learning how to live and cope with memory loss; meeting with others in similar situations and learning how to deal with challenges; working with compassionate professional facilitators, experienced with Alzheimer's. This program is provided by Mills-Peninsula Senior Focus and the Alzheimer's Association.

    Loss, Grief - Bereavement Support Group
    January 2005 - December 2012
    For people who have experienced the death of a significant person, this support group offers information about the normal grief process and provides emotional support and opportunities for sharing. You are welcome to attend either time. Open to all. On-going, drop in.

    Mended Hearts Support Group

    Group is for open heart surgery candidates and survivors. Counselors who have had open heart surgery meet patients before and after surgery. First 30 minutes are open group discussion, followed by guest speakers including doctors, surgeons, specialists and health care insurance experts.

    For people who have had an osomy or related surgery, such as bladder or bowel diversions. Monthly educational meetings feature occasional speakers. Participants also get answers to questions about ostomy surgery, management and other health-related issues. NO MEETING IN DECEMBER.
