Bone densitometry
A test to determine if you have osteoporosis, a condition that results in loss of bone mass. Research indicates that measuring bone mass in different body regions can be helpful in predicting likelihood of future bone fractures. Your doctor can use this information to determine if you have osteoporosis and then to help you with treatment.
* Doctor referral may be required.
